48 Hours in Denver: Girl's Weekend

We've already shared a Denver weekend guide for those who are looking for a weekend to relax, but this itinerary focuses on the nightlight and fun spots Denver has to offer. It would be the perfect weekend for a girl's trip or bachelorette party. Or mix this guide with a couple stops from the spa weekend and you have the best of both worlds!

Where to stay: The Curtis Hotel!

This hotel is centrally located right downtown, but the real reason we love this hotel for a girls weekend is there fun themed rooms. Our personal favorite is the Big Hair room (ie the Barbie room). Just think of the getting ready instagrams!

Lunch @ Great Divide Brewing Co

We start the weekend out with a Denver classic: Beer! The Great Divide Brewing Co is not only home to lots of beer, but also food trucks, which makes for a perfect lunch stop.

Afternoon @ Punch Bowl Social

Punch Bowl Social is a great place to spend an afternoon. Grab a couple beers and pick your favorite activity between private karaoke rooms, bowling, VR games or a vintage arcade.

Dinner @ Cho77

Before heading out for the night head to this 16th street classic for some of the best noodle bowls in the city.

Night @ South Broadway Club Hoping

South Broadway is home to lots of bars and clubs. If you are going the route of the classic night club both The Church Night Club and Milk are Denver staples perfect for dancing the night away.

Brunch @ Denver Biscuit Company

After a long night out on the town, head to this Denver classic for some comfort food. Do be warned, no hair of the dog here! DBC doesn’t serve alcohol. If you are looking for a boozier brunch try Snooze (my personal favorite Denver brunch spot)!

Afternoon @ 16th Street Mall

The 16th Street Mall is a pedestrian mall that traverses from Union Station at one end to the Civic center park on the other. It’s home to a lot of classic mall staples (i.e/ forever 21 and H&M), but also houses some Denver favorites like. forever 21 and H&M), but also houses some Denver favorites like The Tattered Cover (a local bookstore) or Euflora (for the classic Denver dispensary experience) If you’re feet get tired hop on the mall ride, a free bus service that covers the entire mile long mall.

Dinner @ Señor Bear

After an afternoon enjoying some shopping (or maybe a nap), head to Señor Bear for some delicious Latin food. This restaurant has thoughtfully modernized traditional Latin cuisine and although the food is five-stars, the vibe is still very approachable. Also we love a margarita!

Night @ East Colfax

East Colfax has a reputation for being a little grittier than surrounding areas, but that shouldn’t stop you from paying this neighborhood a visit. East Colfax is one of the most historic neighborhoods in Denver and is home to a thriving music scene. Check out the Bluebird Theater, a great local venue. If you are looking to bar hop, a few favorites in that area are Cerebral Brewing, Thirsty Monk Brewery, and Hidden Idol Tiki Bar.

Late Night Snacks @ Voodoo Donuts & Illegal Pete’s

After all that drinking and dancing, a late night snack is just what the doctor ordered. If you’re looking for a sweet treat look no further than Voodoo Donuts. This donut shop caterers to the weird, but nothing quite hits the spot like a donut joint. If you’re looking for something a little spicier head to Illegal Pete’s for a taco. Or get something from both, we won’t tell if you don’t.

Brunch @ Corner Office

The Corner Office, The Curtis’s in house restaurant, will make the perfect end to your weekend in the Mile High City. They make a mean brunch, with bottomless mimosas, what more could a girl ask for.
