A Schitt's Creek Inspired Gift Guide

My current obsession on Netflix is Schitt’s Creek (I finally started watching after @thehomeedit’s recommendation). If you aren’t familiar with the series, it follows the Rose family as they settle into the small town of Schitt’s Creek after an embezzlement scheme leaves them penniless. It’s sweet, heartwarming, and always hilarious.

In honor of David, Alexis, Moira, and Johnny Roses’ taste for the finer things in life, and their small budgets, these gifts are all little luxuries that are under $25.

Druzy Earring ($13)- I love Target’s Sugarfix line with Bauble Bar. It is a great place to look for statement jewelry on a budget. These earrings look much more expensive than they actually are and would complete any Moira-esque outfit.

Slip Silk Scrunchie ($25)- These scrunchies are made of silk to prevent damage to your hair.

Chic Tumbler ($25)- I love the bold black and white print on this tumbler. It is the perfect way to carry your morning coffee in style from the Paradise Cafe.

Holographic Eye Masks ($4)- This is the cheapest item on this list, ringing in at under $5! Eye masks are always a fun treat for a night in, so these would make such a fun stocking stuffer.

Voluspa Candles ($13)- I love gifting a mini of a nicer candle brand. It feels special because of the brand, but it’s still affordable. Plus they always seem to come in beautiful tins that can be used for something else once the candle is used up.

Rose Apothecary Tee ($20)- This t-shirt is a great way to subtly show some love to Schitt’s Creek. Rose Apothecary is David’s store in the later seasons of the show. I love this shirt because even if you aren’t a fan of the show, it still looks cute.

Roller & Serum Gift Set ($17)- Skincare can quickly become pricy! This set is a perfect way to give some nice skincare without breaking the bank. The roller is a great way to do some self-care while also feeling like an Instagram beauty guru.

Faux Fur Eye Mask ($24)- The classic “luxury” gift guide would not be complete without an eye mask (thanks Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s). This one is faux fur, so it’s like you have a pet that lives on your face.

Art Deco Notebook ($24)- Gold foil automatically makes something 67% fancier (it’s science).

Wine & Cheese Pairing Book ($15)- This little book gives you 50 matches of wine and cheese pairings. I think it’s a great gift on its own, but would also be perfectly paired with a bottle of wine.
