Beatrice and Woodsley is a unique little bar on South Broadway. The upstairs level is designed to feel like an aspen grove and you can’t help, but be swept up in the fairytale atmosphere. That atmosphere continues into a cozy wine cellar below. This private room seats 28. There is a little something for everyone on their Rustic-American menu. It is the perfect rehearsal dinner space if you want a cozy and romantic evening for a smaller wedding party.
Tomayo is located in Denver’s Larimer Square, which is a perfect location if your wedding venue is anywhere in the downtown area. They have event spaces ranging from 25 guests to 100 guests with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Tomayo serves up some of the best Mexican food in Denver and is host to a vast selection of tequila and cocktails. If you are planning on having a large rehearsal dinner or want to enjoy the outdoors, Tomayo may be the best choice for you.
Colt & Gray and the sister bar the Ste. Ellie are located in the Highlands. They have a separate event space that seats up to 70 guests. The whole space has a wine cellar vibe with stonewalls and wine barrels, but the space is fairly minimally decorated and would fit well with any color scheme or theme. The event space has access to both cocktails from Ste. Ellie and the food from head chef Nelson Perkins, whose French inspired cuisine is too die for.
Also located in the Highlands is Linger, a unique Denver restaurant located in an old mortuary. They have a globally inspired menu with something to suit every palette. There private dining room seats up to 40 guests and you’ll have access to their rotating selection of craft beers, cocktails, and wines.
Cuba Cuba is located just a couple blocks from the Denver Art Museum. Enjoy their menu of Cuban favorites and mojitos. It’s a small restaurant, but you can rent out their entire enclosed for the evening and seat up to 65 guests. The vibe is fun and colorful, as they often showcase work from local artists on their walls.
