July Favorites!

Folklore- I was a little bit tempted to make this list just Folklore the new album from Taylor Swift. I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan and I have been listening almost exclusively to this surprise album for the past week. I love it so much!

The Royal We- I’ve been hearing about this book for years, but I finally picked it up in July. Honestly, I know it’s fiction, but it has really changed my perspective on the Royals, especially on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to leave the family. I have so much more empathy now! It follows Bex, as she falls in love with a prince while studying abroad in Oxford and then covers the following years as she navigates all the things that come with dating a Royal.

Bridal Bows- My Pinterest page is filled with images of bridal bows right now! I’ve always loved a good hair bow, but I’m especially into the bows of bridal variety.

Sweaters- At this point, I’m very much over summer! I’m ready for fall and have already begun shopping for sweaters (my favorite item of clothing!). I snagged this one from J Crew from their sale.

Colorful Interiors- I love color and I’ve been loving scrolling interior design Instagram and perusing for colorful interiors. My “home” bookmarks folder has gotten quite full. These are three of my favorites: @thehousethatcolourbuilt (where the image is from), @thepreppybohemianathome & @pmqfortwo!

Remote Year- Okay, I don’t know if this would actually be a favorite since I’m certainly not traveling right now, but the inability to travel has made me just making lists of all the places I want to visit. While it isn’t in the cards for right now, I’d love to do one of their programs in the future!

Wedding Planning Jumpstart- In July, I launched an email series to help brides in their first 6 weeks of wedding planning with a lot of the big stuff like budget and venue. I’m so happy with how it turned out.

Normal People- While I also finished the Normal People novel by Sally Rooney this month, my favorite is actually the TV show. I feel like this is one of the few cases where the show is better than the book! I’m in love with the main characters and their chemistry. I’m about halfway through the series and I’m watching them slowly because I don’t want it to end!

Priority Planner- I love my google calendar, but I’ve always been a paper planner girl at heart. This planner is perfect for my quarantine life to help me plan my day. I also love that it’s undated, so I can skip days without feeling too wasteful!
