June Favorites

  1. Harry Potter Audiobooks- I read the Harry Potter books as a kid and I’m certainly not above tuning in to one of the movies when they play constantly on Freeform in October, but I also wouldn’t declare my self a super fan. During quarantine, Spotify started releasing a chapter of the book read by assorted famous people and I was hooked again!

  2. The Moment of Lift by Melinda Gates- I’ve been reading this book for a few months now. It’s packed with so much rich and thought-provoking material that I found myself only being able to read a few pages at a time before needing to take some time to process it all. Melinda Gates shares stories from her work with women around the globe through the Gates Foundation. It has earned a spot next to Brené Brown’s Rising Strong as one of the most impactful books I’ve ever read.

  3. Old Navy Swing Dresses- Things are heating up in Denver and these dresses have been my favorite thing to wear. They are so comfy and look pulled together enough to run errands in (with my mask of course!

  4. Anthropologie Masks- It seems like masks will be part of our wardrobe for a while and I’ve been shopping for some cute ones! Anthropologie has some of my favorites and at a reasonable price.

  5. The Politician (Season 2)- I’m only 2 episodes into the new season of The Politician, but I loved the first season!

  6. Tabitha Brown on Instagram- A new follow on Instagram has been @iamtabithabrown. I keep my following to 20 people on my “fun” Instagram (it’s how I help myself practice moderation when it comes to the app), so you have to really be something special to get a follow. Tabitha cooks a lot of delish vegan food, but she also gives the most amazing pep talks. She’s just the best!

  7. Hamilton (Disney+)- Hamilton is out on Disney+ today! I had plans to see the play in person for my birthday in August, but it looks like that won’t be happening. While this isn’t quite as good, I’m still very excited to watch tonight!

  8. Yoga with Adrienne - Trying to find at-home workouts during this lockdown has been a journey! My gym is starting to reopen, but I don’t feel comfortable going yet (it just seems so germy!). I gave my knees a break from all the jumping and spent the last couple weeks mostly doing yoga. I love Yoga with Adrienne and have been working through her 30-day “Home” series, while I complete a whole30 challenge.

  9. My Wedding Impossible Wedding- This was my favorite project from June! It was the first in hopefully a series where I create a wedding given some pretty tight restraints. I loved the way it turned out and I’m excited to do more in the future.
